North East Hobbies Portrait Competition

Let Village Photography Capture your children doing what they love best! Their Hobby! In 2019 we ran our first North East Hobbies Portrait Competition, and the children taking part loved their experience.

Sometimes children especially boys once they get to a certain age think its uncool to have their photographs taken, which is why we thought our latest style of portrait shoots would be perfect for your older children which allows them combine their hobby with a portrait shoot!

We have found that the best age for the Hobbies Photoshoots is between 6 and 16 years old.

Your Children’s Hobbies photo shoot can include anything from boxing, swimming, netball, cricket, rugby, karate, football, horse riding, gymnastics, dance, skating and everything in between and that’s just the sports side – then there is the music side too, the list is endless!

We love it when your children bring in their sports equipment and musical instruments and show us their skills! As well as any trophy’s or certificates to make your children’s shoot as unique as we can.

A fun, friendly and relaxed experience

As you will see from some of the images the kids really love showing us what they do when they come to visit us at our Studio in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear. To view last years full gallery click here.

Why should you treat your children to a hobbies photoshoot?

We love to welcome all children between 6 and 16 years into our studio, to take part in our competition.

We are pretty centrally located and we see families from all over the North East from locations such as Hebburn, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Shields, Sunderland, Washington, Chester-Le-Street, Seaham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, and Durham to name a few who have come to visit us in our studio. But we have also had families from further afield as well from Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and Blackpool and they all loved their sessions with us. Budding skier Grace travelled from Lancashire to to take part with her skiing equipment.

We have an excellent reputation with our customers. We like to ensure your children are happy and relaxed while we capture their wonderful poses and funny moments, sometimes fitting a full size javelin or a motor bike or even a ice hockey net minder onto our background can be challenging.
