Once you have registered your interest in our competition, we will give you a call to explain the whole process and book your session with us. Before you register for your children to have their photoshoot with us, here’s a little bit more information for you.
Please note sessions for our North East Hobbies Portrait Competition will take place on various days during the school holidays & weekends throughout the year.
We'll call you
Meeting your family
Once you have arrived and I have met your children, we will have a nice relaxing chat with your children about their hobby, once your children are changed and I’m sure you children are relaxed, and happy, we will start our photoshoot. Sometimes children can be shy, we will try our very best to put them at ease.
Select your image
Happy and relaxed is our aim for you and your family.
We want to give you a fantastic set of images and as much choice as we possibly can so I always try and set up as many different poses as we can, the more poses your children can think of the better, we know sometimes kids are shy so we always have a set of universal poses I take but if we can get a fantastic selection of poses it makes your children’s shoot more unique to them.
Your children’s welfare is always our number one priority.
Where can you view your entered image?
All entries for the competition are added to the North East Hobbies Portrait Competition folder on our Facebook page at the end of each month. Please feel free to tag yourself into your children’s image and share it with your friends and family. The more you share your image, the more our competition is seen by more people which could result in your other family or friends children wanting to take part.
When does the competition close and who is it judged by?
The competition closes for all entries on the 23rd December 2024. The competition will be judged by representatives from The Charlie & Carter Cookson Foundation.
